Anna Bowling- Head Coach

Phone 330-988-2888 I Email Address: anbowling@wadsworthschools.org

Bio: I have been in the Speech and Debate world for over a decade now, and I am so excited to step into this role as head coach! I competed for Wadsworth in high school and continued my Speech career at Eastern Michigan University, where I was a national quarterfinalist in POI. Since returning to my alma mater, I have coached both state and national champions. When I am not speeching or debating (a rare occurance), I am most likely at home with my three cats- Moonboots, Cosmo, and Stardust.

Brooke Stout - Assistant Coach, all Events

Email Address: bstout@wadsworthschools.org

Bio: I’m a school-based BCBA by day and a Hoover Speech & Debate alum who somehow found my way back to the speech and debate world - this time on the coaches’ side! When I’m not talking about my dog and cat or buried in a book, I’m probably sharing a not-so-interesting behavior fact that nobody asked for. I’m excited to support the team, cheer you on, and be part of the OSDA world again!

Kathrine Dannemiller- Assistant Coach, Debate

Email Address: kdannemiller@wadsworthschools.org

Bio: I am an alumni of the Stow - Munroe Falls Speech and Debate Program, where I first started my coaching career. Following that, I started coaching at Wadsworth in both public address and debate. For the past few years, I have worked on completely revamping the debate program at Wadsworth for student achievement. When I am not coaching, my day is spent crafting, finding a new coffee shop, or spending time with my two poodles.

Becca Nichols- Alumni Coach- POI, OO, DI

Email Address:

Bio: I am a first-year alum of Wadsworth High school and a former member of the Speech and Debate program, where I participated for two years in POI and DI. My experience in the program helped them develop confidence, creativity, public speaking skills, and a deeper appreciation for performance and storytelling. As a recent alum, I am so excited to give back to the program that played an important role in their high school experience and to help current students grow both as competitors and performers.

James Welsh- Alumni Coach- HI, DUO, DEC

In my spare time, I enjoy painting and performing!
